Yes, Stupid Questions Exist: What Not to Ask a 9-Month Pregnant Mom

"There's no such thing as a stupid question." Whoever came up with that cliched saying was obviously not a pregnant woman. During my pregnancies, I endured some pretty stupid questions. They only got more and more stupid the closer I came to the end of my pregnancy. Carrie at You're a Good Mom recently shared a list of things you shouldn't say to a mom who is 8.99 months pregnant. Oh, boy, I totally related.
I heard all of these, especially this first one:
"When are you due?"
Does it really matter? I obviously have not had this baby yet, so "due date" no longer means anything. I am "past due." I am thinking of collecting some sort of fine from my doctor. The library does it, and that's just for some stinkin' book. I have been focused on that due date for 9 months now. I think my doctor may have arbitrarily picked a date and given it to me as some experimental form of torture. No, I don't want to talk about it. No, I don't want to discuss it. Unless you're getting me chocolate ice cream, please leave me alone.
What about you? What were some of the stupidest questions you heard while pregnant? Finish reading Carrie's funny-but-true post and share your most teeth-grating experiences.
