None of the above/I'm not sure
Adrienne from NoPointsForStyle.com and Alex from LateEnough.com will talk about their experiences blogging about controversial topics such as politics, religion, children with mental illness, abortion, marriage equality and gun control over the last three years.
We will discuss the difference between civil discourse and inflammatory writing, finding the line between discussion and defensiveness, understanding and expressing that the other side is not a bunch of morons out to get you, and when is it okay to delete a comment.
We also plan to broach finding an opinion, developing it, citing sources and admitting you're wrong -- all without writing a 1500 word blog post that puts your audience to sleep.
