The Zombie Picture that Got Me Kicked Off Facebook

Have you ever been reported on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social media outlet?
If so, what was it for?
Did you remove it once you were notified?
Did you know Facebook will block you from liking, posting, sharing and commenting for 12 hours if you don’t?
I sure as hell didn’t. Shit, prior to this point, I had never been reported in the eight years that I'd had my Facebook account. And I like posting some crazy stuff!
And if I did, I still wouldn’t have taken it down anyway!
I have to warn you that the picture you are about to view has been deemed by Facebook and some jerk on my friends list to contain “graphic violence.” If you have a heart condition or are weak of reality...
PLEASE ADVERT YOUR EYES AND KEEP SCROLLING.
AND BY ALL MEANS DON'T SHOW YOUR CHILDREN. I DON'T WANT TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GIVING YOUR CHILDREN NIGHTMARES!
(Please feel free to let me know if this picture offended you in any way.)
I am so sorry if I offended anyone...
HAHA -- I can't say that to you with a straight face.
I mean come on, it's just a picture of my sexy hubby as a zombie. I made it on The Walking Dead's Dead Yourself app. I made it a while ago, and decided to finally post it on Facebook and Instagram yesterday. Never in a million years did I think someone would find it too graphic for their eyes and report it. I really thought most of my friends on Facebook were grown up and could handle a picture like this. I thought the only kids on on the list were a couple of my son's friends and my nephew. But I guess I have a baby among my friends. You are either a person who can't handle a fake picture of a zombie or you are just a person who plays extremely childish games. (And what the hell did I do to piss you off?)
I mean no one on Instagram reported it. It's still up there in all its glory. But what blows my mind is that Facebook would delete and block someone who posted a picture like so many others have. I mean come on, how could this offend someone?!?! I've seen hundreds of these on social networks.
Even The Walking Dead show puts them up DURING the shows on Sundays!
My friends have flooded my news feed with zombified faces of gore.
Did Facebook delete theirs?
Oh but when I do it, it's WHAM BAM YOU'VE BEEN BLOCKED, MA'AM!
I find the fact that Facebook hasn't taken down and blocked everyone else's Dead Yourself photos inappropriate. I mean if mine is inappropriate and breaking some “graphic violence” term of service, doesn’t that mean everyone else's photo is too?
So in short, Facebook, I expect you to block the WHOLE Dead Yourself app from posting anyone's pictures AND anyone who has or will be posting one of themselves, family members and friends, (since you have shown this is a violation of your “graphic violence” term. )
OR just put my DAMN photo of my very sexy zombie hubby back up!
And to whoever reported my picture:
For your information (which you clearly don’t deserve), my husband asked me to download the app and zombify him. Don't you think he wanted me to share the damn photo?
So please, get a life.
Get a sense of humor.
And last, but not least...
Get the hell off my page!
Thank you for your concern about the content on MY PERSONAL PAGE, but your opinion is not welcomed, wanted, needed or appropriate. And thanks for the inspiration for this blog post.
GO GET ZOMBIED!
