Cover Girl Maye Musk on Modeling, Motherhood and Success After 70

Influencer. Businesswoman. Author. Model. Mother.
These titles appear frequently on our #BlogHer event stages. Most of the time, these women are still developing their careers, starting their businesses, and perfecting motherhood while navigating their daily work commitments. But what if we told you we found a woman who’s mastered mommy duties (she raised tech tycoon Elon Musk), has a net worth of over $20 million ($$$$), and has built a successful career in her golden years?
No, we didn’t make this COVERGIRL up. It’s international supermodel and registered dietitian, Maye Musk!
Maye is an amazing example of overcoming adversity. After being trapped in a viciously abusive marriage, Maye escaped with her three children, no money, and fearing for her life. Suddenly a single mother, Maye had to navigate her new normal alone. Her inner strength drove her to eventually graduate with TWO Masters of Science degrees and become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, author, model, and influencer.
This barely scratches the surface of the phenomenal woman who will be standing in front of us at #BlogHer20 Health. Maye will share her secrets to influencer success, her tips for good health, and how raising three trailblazing children on her own has shaped the woman she is today.
We’re thrilled to welcome Maye Musk to Rolling Greens on February 1st, and are looking forward to learning more about her new book “A Woman Makes A Plan”, which hits shelves December 31st. In her book, Maye will give frank and practical advice on how the choices you make in every decade can pay off in surprising, exciting ways throughout your life.
Maye will also share her journey, conveying hard-earned wisdom on career (the harder you work, the luckier you get), family (let the people you love go their own way), health (there is no magic pill), and adventure (make room for discovery, but always be ready for anything). She believes you can’t control all that happens in life, but you can have the life you want at ANY age. All you have to do is make a plan.
We can’t wait to hear her health & wellness advice!
