I’m a fashion editor, stylist and author! My site, Making it in Manhattan is a career advice and fashion focused platform.
How did you get started blogging?
While working at InStyle Magazine I came up with the idea for Making it in Manhattan as a way to share career advice stories for the future fashion generation.
What do you focus on most when it comes to creating content?
I love editorial fashion content so I try to focus on that but while still tying in the career advice and New York City aspects of my brand, as well.
Any tips you want to share with bloggers just starting out?
Find your voice, find what sets you apart. Try your best to add something to the conversation that isn’t already being said.
What’s your favorite book?
Anything by Candace Bushnell.

It’s no small feat to be a leading source for NY fashion, what do you credit your ability to be breakthrough in this space?
I definitely think my background in fashion editorial definitely helped me in the beginning when launching my site.
At one point you worked at InStyle Magazine, what was the greatest lesson you learned from that work experience?
I learned so much about running a digital site and SEO that I was then able to apply to my site.
Who has been your favorite person to interview for your site?
There’s been so many I’ve loved but maybe, Giovanna Battaglia.
You write a lot about career advice, what’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Work hard, be nice, and really love it!
Where’s your favorite place to eat in NYC?
What steps have you taken to increase your website traffic over the last year?
I try my best to post regularly and post about relevant topics!
