Here are the Google Searches That Defined a Truly Insane Year
It should come as no surprise that in a year as unpredictable as 2020, we were Googling more than usual. Staying at home required getting reacquainted with old habits or picking up new ones almost immediately–I know I’m not the only one who attempted trimming their hair. Thanks to Cardi B. and Megan Thee Stallion, we also couldn’t stop looking up the lyrics to “WAP” and what the NSFW acronym actually means. Google’s annual Year in Search, a list of Google’s top trends and searches, truly brings the people together as we see just how common our needs and curiosities are.
