Alyssa Milano Joins BlogHer Health 2019!

As BlogHer has evolved over the past two years, our purpose to celebrate the women who are using their voices for good has remained key. We take great pride in selecting speakers who are inspiring change and making the world a better place for women everywhere. This January, we are excited to invite actress, activist and mother, Alyssa Milano, to take the stage at BlogHer Health!

Raised in the spotlight, Alyssa has been a familiar face on our TV screens since the 90’s with hit shows, Charmed and Melrose Place. Today, she stars in Netflix’s new show, Insatiable, a dark-comedy series that is tackling bullying and body image issues in a new light. In addition to her current acting endeavors, she owns her own women’s sports clothing line, TOUCH, enabling women to feel confident when cheering on their favorite sports teams. On top of her work as an actor, producer and designer, she is also the mother of two children.

In addition to her current business ventures and personal life, Alyssa is also an avid philanthropist and activist, never shying away from using her platform to raise women’s voices and make a difference. From her advancement of the #MeToo movement to her advocacy against gun violence, and her dedication to protecting children’s rights, Alyssa has repeatedly used her platform for good and we are excited to hear from her on stage at our health event.
