We are always looking to support the women who are innovating the business world and are excited to share career details on our Passion to Profit panel. As the beauty and wellness industry remains a key player for content creators and social influencers, we wanted to feature the bosses who are elevating these spaces with women in mind. Join us at #BlogHer19 Creators Summit this September for an inspiring and informative panel with Lo Bosworth of Love Wellness, Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton of Chillhouse and Sarah Lee of Glow Recipe in conversation with wellness guru Maya Howard on how they built their brands from the ground up, offering tactical advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, and how they’re shaking up beauty and wellness for the modern woman.

Lo Bosworth: Founder, Love Wellness | Lauren Bosworth, the 32-year-old entrepreneur behind the inclusive feminine healthcare brand Love Wellness could be the poster child on how to leverage a platform. Bosworth fled “The Hills” and her life as a reality TV star in favor of shifting her focus on creating and running a feminine care brand which is for women and by women. After having some health issues herself, Lauren realized there was a lack of innovation in non-prescription women’s health care products and Love Wellness was born in 2016. Love Wellness aims to give women their power back, shifting the tone of the packaging and product messaging to one with empowerment in mind. The line consists of personal care products such as cleansers and 7 supplements including probiotics that are natural and organic. Bosworth is seeking to change the narrative surrounding how women feel purchasing products meant for their own self care.
Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton: Founder, Chillhouse | Born and raised in New York City, Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton is an entrepreneur with a creative vision who has made a name for herself in the lifestyle, fashion and hospitality industries though her award-winning website Taste The Style, and as a partner of The Garret in New York City. Along with her husband and co-founder, Ramirez sought out to change the relaxation landscape with her latest project, Chillhouse. Prior to starting her own businesses, Ramirez worked as the Brand Director of Third Wave Fashion, a fashion tech consultancy. From there she built her media company, which has since been honored with an award for “Best Lifestyle Blog” by Bloglovin’. She is a 2017 Shorty Award nominee, a recipient of Nylon’s 2018 Beauty Innovator award, and has appeared in advertising campaigns for Nike, Fossil, VINCE, amongst others. Additionally, she has been featured in top-tier publications such as WWD, Glamour, Teen People, Vogue, Martha Stewart, People En Español and more.
Sarah Lee: Co-Founder, Glow Recipe | Sarah started her career at L’Oréal, where she played a key role in launching the Giorgio Armani Cosmetics Korea brand in-market and was then selected as L’Oréal’s first-ever Korean expat to the NYC office, where she joined the Matrix Global team. In 2014, Sarah created Glow Recipe along with co-founder Christine Chang to create a lovingly curated destination of natural, harsh-free beauty products and provide the latest skincare trends from South Korea. In 2017, Glow Recipe Skincare was born with the launch of the Watermelon Sleeping Mask, which sold out over 7 times and generated an 8,000-person waitlist. Sarah blends her deep understanding of product formulation science with years of successfully bringing brands to market to drive strategy and execution of Glow Recipe’s vision.
Maya Howard: Founder, Maya’s Healthy Day | Maya is a holistic health enthusiast from Los Angeles now based in New York. Her wellness journey began ten years ago when she started studying sports nutrition and yoga and decided to take control of her own health outcomes. Maya’s biggest motivating factor? Ending the generational patterns of poor health in her family and communities of color. After gaining experience as a personal trainer and fitness nutrition specialist, she realized her biggest impact is through healthy lifestyle education. These days, Maya is excitedly expanding her brand “Maya’s Healthy Day” as a wellness blogger, plant-based recipe creator, and influencer. She is passionately teaching her community how to live their BEST lives by taking control of their physical and mental health!
