Connie Britton to Keynote #BlogHer19 Creators Summit
If you watched Friday Night Lights in its heyday, you know “clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose”, and the speaker lineup for #BlogHer19 Creators Summit is certainly winning today as well. Four-time Emmy® award-nominated actress, producer and advocate, Connie Britton is joining the speaker ranks to keynote #BlogHer19 Creators Summit on September 18th.
Opening our two-day event, Connie will take the stage in a fireside chat on Wednesday to discuss her decorated entertainment career and her commitment to philanthropy. Throughout her career, Connie has dedicated her time to humanitarian efforts both in the United States and across the globe. For the past five years, she has also worked with the United Nations as a Goodwill Ambassador, working to eradicate poverty and empower women everywhere. Her devotion to elevating women and activism will anchor our Voices of the Year (VOTY) Awards as she presents the first nominee following her keynote.

Connie Britton | Four-time Emmy nominated Connie Britton, is an actress who continually receives accolades for her work in television and film. She is best known for her Emmy® award-nominated roles starring Friday Night Lights and Nashville, which also earned her a Golden Globe® nomination. She received another Emmy® Award nomination for her role in the first installment of American Horror Story. Connie most recently starred in and executive produced Bravo’s new scripted series, Dirty John, based on the true story of a successful business woman and mother who fell for a charismatic con-man. In addition, she has starred in Ryan Murphy’s 9-1-1 and in the Golden Globe® nominated, SMILF. Additional television credits include: American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, Spin City, 24, and The West Wing.
