Cheers! Poppy Montgomery to Host Our “Happiest Hour” at #BlogHer20 Healthy at Home

Admit it — Poppy Montgomery, La La Anthony, and Roselyn Sanchez make up the #GirlSquad of your dreams. It’s cool, us too. Lucky for all of us, we’ll have the chance to listen to these gal pals chat over drinks during #BlogHer20 Healthy at Home’s Happiest Hour.
We couldn’t be more excited to have the one and only Poppy Montgomery joining us for this groundbreaking event! Poppy is an actress, mom, Instagram icon, and content queen. She created, executive produced and starred in the sexy series “Reef Break”. Montgomery also starred in the much loved “Unforgettable” and “Without a Trace”. She played Marilyn Monroe in the miniseries “Blonde” as well as co-starred in films including “The Other Sister”, “Life” and cult favorite “Dead Man on Campus”. Poppy’s currently quarantined like the rest of us with her 5 children, but is using the time to dole out hilarious snippets of mom-life to her adoring fans by starring in her hilarious IGTV skit-series “Reasons Mommy Drinks” — which if you still haven’t seen, you’re seriously missing out on. She’s a co-parenting queen and shares tons of relatable, engaging content.
When it comes to the entertainment industry, La La Anthony has truly done it all. She’s been a radio host, an MTV personality, a producer, an actress – the list goes on and on. On top of all that, she’s been nominated for a Tony for her producer role in “Eclipsed,” written two New York Times best-selling books, and has her own clothing and beauty lines – both focused on empowering women. Her beauty line, “Motives for La La,” prides itself on coming in a wide, put-the-beauty-industry-to-shame array of shades so that every woman can find their perfect match.

Last but certainly not least, Roselyn Sanchez! Roselyn is an actress, a podcaster, a singer, mom of three — and is about to make her directorial debut with her upcoming, highly anticipated short film “Satos.” She’s starred on the big screen and small screen alike, including Rush Hour 2 and Without a Trace. She was crowned Miss Puerto Rico in 1993, was nominated for a Latin Grammy almost a decade later, and spends a large amount of her time as an advocate for PETA. She is the co-host of the “He Said, Ella La Dijo” podcast, which she puts on with her husband Eric Winter every Monday.

POPPY MONTGOMERY
Vivacious Poppy Montgomery is a native of Sydney, and a mom to five children. Poppy most recently starred in and executive produced the sexy summer series “Reef Break” for ABC.
She previously starred in CBS’s popular drama “Unforgettable” for several seasons and the critically acclaimed “ Without a Trace “ as FBI agent Samantha Spade opposite Anthony LaPaglia. She transformed herself in order to play JK Rowling, the beloved author of the Harry Potter series, in the Lifetime biopic “Strange Magic: The JK Rowling Story”.
In addition, Montgomery starred in the Lifetime films “Lying to be Perfect” and “Murder in the Hamptons.” Early in her career Montgomery received critical acclaim for her edgy breakout performance as Marilyn Monroe in the miniseries “Blonde”. Entertainment Weekly touted, “It’s clear that actress Poppy Montgomery really ‘gets’ Oates’ Monroe from the nuanced, heroic performance she gives…”
Following this success, she was cast in the Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz’s drama series “Relativity” and starred alongside Diane Keaton in Garry Marshall’s film “The Other Sister.” Other credits include the Barry Levinson cop series “The Beat,” the Eddie Murphy comedy, “Life,” and the cult classic, “Dead Man on Campus”.
LA LA ANTHONY
La La Anthony is an actress, producer, New York Times best-selling author and entrepreneur. La La is best known for her role as Lakeisha Grant on the hit show, “Power,” which recently wrapped its sixth and final season on Starz. Anthony will also appear in Season 3 of “The Chi” out in June 2020 on SHOWTIME.
Her other acting credits include “The New Edition Story” (BET) and “Unforgettable” (A&E), “Reef Break” (ABC) and “BH 90201”(FOX) as well as feature films including“Think Like a Man,” “Think Like a Man Too,” Spike Lee’s critically acclaimed “Chi-Raq”, “Double Play,” “Baggage Claim,” and Netflix’s “Holiday Rush.” La La Anthony is also the host of a new Facebook Watch series titled, “La La Anthony: Reclaim Your Life” and is the Producer of a Snap Original docuseries titled, “The Honeybeez of ASU,” which premiered in April 2020.
La La produced the BET documentary film, “Killer Curves” and made her Broadway producing debut in 2016 with “Eclipsed,” starring Lupita Nyong’o. “Eclipsed” received a Tony Award nomination and made history as the first all-female, all-black show on Broadway. She and 50 Cent are teaming up on a new drama for STARZ titled “Intercepted,” based on Alexa Martin’s bestselling novel and inspired by her life as an NFL wife.
La La has also written two New York Times best-selling books, “The Love Playbook,” and “The Power Playbook.” She is currently adapting “The Love Playbook” for the big screen, producing alongside Queen Latifah.
As a fashion & beauty entrepreneur, La La has teamed up with Andy Hilfiger on “The La La Anthony Collection” for Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Ashley Stewart and other high-end department stores. Her beauty line, “Motives for La La,” is uniquely formulated for every shade of today’s woman and is available now.
ROSELYN SANCHEZ
Roselyn Sanchez will make her directorial debut with her upcoming, highly-anticipated “Satos.” She recently starred as Gigi Mendoza in the ABC television drama “Grand Hotel,” executive produced by Eva Longoria. The series was the highest-rated summertime drama series to debut in 4 years on the network. In 2014 Roselyn starred in the extremely successful Fox International Colombian series FAMILIA EN VENTA, and now she will be executive producing an American version for FOX.
Sanchez’s other films include: starring opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. in the romantic comedy BOAT TRIP, starring opposite John Travolta, Sam Jackson, and Giovanni Ribisi in BASIC, and the Forest Whitaker produced film CHASING PAPI, a romantic comedy for FOX 2000.
Sanchez is also an entrepreneur. She is a business partner and spokesperson for the PETA organization participating in their highly successful “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign. Roselyn devotes her time to charity work organizing a unique scavenger-hunt competition benefitting PETSOS, a non-profit to end the suffering of displaced dogs and cats in Puerto Rico. A couple of years ago, Sanchez organized a triathlon called the Triathalon For a Smile that benefitted the San Jorge Children’s Foundation and the Fundacion Caritas Alegres. Both events took place in Puerto Rico.
Currently, Roselyn resides with her husband Eric in Studio City with their daughter Sebella and son, Dylan.
