#BlogHer20 Parenting is just around the corner, and man are we feeling LUCKY!
So many incredible ladies are set to appear on our virtual stage next week, and our newest additions are no exception. They are doctors, CEOS and founders, SVPs and SEO experts, and the cherry on top — MOMS! Welcome Dr. Jessica Shepherd, Jessica Rolph, Christine Michel Carter, Jeanine Edwards, Fatma Collins, Leslie Fram, and SHE Media’s Lindsay Valdez.
Join us in welcoming Dr. Jessica Shepherd BACK to the #BlogHer stage — Dr. Shepherd joined us at #BlogHer20 Health back in February (she even recorded an episode of her podcast with fellow speaker Dr. Cara Natterson on-site). She’ll take over your screens for our “Bye, Bye Balance, Hello Work-Life Integration” panel — a candid discussion about mothering during these new and challenging times. She’ll talk creating structure, finding your support network, and the importance of carving out spaces to nurture your passions and projects — while caring for your family.
Jessica Rolph is the CEO and founder of Lovevery, a company dedicated to connecting parents with products and information to help them feel prepared, educated, and empowered while raising their little ones. She’s also the creator of the brand-new podcast, “My Brand New Life,” which focuses on parenting, early childhood development, and all things sweet. We’re so excited to learn from her as a business woman, child mind expert, and dedicated mom.

Good morning everyone, As an entrepreneur who is growing my business, I am now faced with the task of trying to do so in the midst of a global crisis. While it may not be safe to venture out into the world and socialize, it is still safe (and smart!) to fund entrepreneurs and help them continue to launch and grow their small businesses in order to drive the economy forward. I still plan to host @mompreneurandme events in the second half of the year. We have an amazing partner, and they’ve offered an incredible opportunity for our mompreneurs to advance their education for free. Now more than ever, you need resources, tools and a community to help you thrive professionally. Now more than ever, you should be encouraging fellow mompreneurs to join Mompreneur and Me. Mompreneur and Me prides itself in being open to all mothers. In order to bridge the housework gap, we believe all mothers should have access to professional development content on their own terms and be able to build relationships with other businesswomen, all the while spending quality time with their child. Most of the mothers who attend Mompreneur and Me events are multicultural, so we believe we are also helping underrepresented female entrepreneurs also gain access to key professionals and corporate competencies. A number of my colleagues are hosting virtual meetups and advice for mothers on how to navigate during this uncertain time. While I support their efforts, know that I also feel it’s okay to stay still. To be worried. To feel tired, frustrated, overwhelmed and anxious. These are unique times we’re living in right now, and every mompreneur reacts differently. Above all else, I want you and your family right now to be safe and feel loved. Sincerely, Christine
