Like Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, and more, Pinterest provides free resources for learning how to use its features. Whether you’re new to pinning or want to level up your existing account, the Pinterest Business page should be your first stop for learning or re-learning the basics. However, when you want to focus on specific topics, like, say, learning how to use the algorithm to your advantage or tracking down the best keywords for showing up in search results, I think I’ve found some of the best online Pinterest courses that cover these topics and cost literally nothing to take.
The following four courses were made by marketing experts who have experience and proven success on the platform. Whether they’ve done that for themselves or a client, you’ll have access to the exact strategies that put numbers on the board and made them bonafide pinning experts. Keep scrolling and take your pick. (Pro-tip: You can also find resources via Tailwind, one of the most popular scheduling tools for Pinterest users.)
Anna Bennett, the woman behind White Gloves Social Media, parlayed her experience as a Pinterest business account coach into a “Pinterest Marketing for Business” course. For those who don’t have the means to pay for every lesson, all you need to do is submit your email to snag the first three chapters for free. There, you’ll learn how to set up a business account, how to choose correct keywords, how to optimize your account so it shows up in search results, and so much more.
Angie Gensler’s free one-hour training zeroes in on the exact steps and roadmap she used to garner over 500 subscribers and thousands of Pinterest page views in just one month. She also details “The Traffic Trifecta,” which she describes as a “3 pronged formula to grow your traffic.”
Social media strategist and author Peg Fitzpatrick leads this free Skillshare course which you can access through a free Skillshare trial. Over 15 video modules totaling one hour and forty minutes, she covers the basics for Pinterest newbies, including how to create boards, how to use Rich Pins and hashtags, and how to use Tailwind.
Over 10,000 students have taken this Pinterest marketing course to generate more website traffic, grow their email lists, create client leads, improve their keyword research, master a regular pinning routine, use the algorithm to their advantage and so much more.
