She’s a Hustler, Baby! Keke Palmer joins #BlogHer19 Creators Summit
by Amanda Lederman
Keke Palmer takes the mainstage on Day One of #BlogHer19 Creators Summit
The actress, activist, musical artist, author, humanitarian, and passionate voice for her generation will treat attendees to a personal interview about growing up in front of the camera, how she avoided being boxed in to just one passion and the importance of inclusion in the media.
#BlogHer19 Creators Summit attendees, are you ready to be entertained? Keke Palmer may not know who Dick Cheney is (which is now a hilarious meme) but she is nevertheless a legitimate multi-hyphenate, working at the top of her game in several categories. She will be joining us on September 18th at 5:45pm. We’re excited to learn about how she built her career from child actress on Nickelodeon to starring beside Jennifer Lopez, Lili Reinhart, and Constance Wu in “Hustlers” and becoming a permanent co-host on GMA3: Strahan Sara and Keke. She’ll also share how she uses her platform to stress the importance of inclusion in the media and support and empower young women everywhere.
It’s no secret that Keke was born for stardom. We feel like we’ve grown up watching her blossom into an iconic celebrity! Audiences were introduced to Keke in her first breakout role in “Akeelah and The Bee”, followed her through her “presidential” status in ‘True Jackson, VIP”, and stayed with her as she became a young woman who now dips her creative pen in to many pots, including publishing her own book and releasing her own music on her own label.
We couldn’t possibly neglect to mention “Hustlers,” Keke’s new film that smashed box office records this past weekend and is receiving award season buzz. It has been named one of the best movies of the year by GQ, Glamour, and Buzzfeed, to name a few. Keke is a powerful force in her role as Mercedes, and we know the self-proclaimed "millennial diva” won’t be slowing down anytime soon!

Keke recently released her latest single ‘ Twerk N Flirt’, the first off her upcoming album The Boss, which is set to be released later this year on her own label imprint, Big Bosses Entertainment. Last year she released ‘Bossy’ and ‘Wind Up” to follow up her groundbreaking EP titled Lauren.
