In addition to creating right-on-time resources related to the pandemic, Instagram also launched a flurry of new updates in 2020. Now, as part of “an ongoing effort to give creators and businesses the tools they need,” Instagram’s new Professional Dashboard centralizes all of the features that help creators track performance, improve their e-commerce strategies, and remain educated about all that the social media platform has to offer. The hub itself is new, though you may already be familiar with the tools inside–this dashboard means less clicking around and more getting sh*t done.
“While some of these resources already exist across Instagram, we hope that by bringing them together into one central place we can make it easier for professionals to discover and access the tools best-suited for them,” they said in a blog post.
The three main features of the Professional Dashboard are:
Track Your Performance: “Discover insights and trends based on your accounts performance.”
Grow Your Business: “Easily access tools you use to run your account more efficiently, discover new tools to help you build your business, and check monetization status and eligibility.”
Stay Informed: “Learn how to make the most of Instagram through curated educational resources including tips, tricks, guidance, and inspiration.”
The new feature, available to all Creator/Business accounts and rolling out this week, will also grow over time as Instagram continues to improve upon and add new tools to build out the suite. If you want to get your account verified, here are some tips for getting a blue check.
