Meet the #BlogHer Health 2019 Pitchers!

At BlogHer, our mission to support women entrepreneurs comes to life during The Pitch, the on-stage competition for women business leaders. During the competition, three women will pitch their product or service to a high-level panel of judges and the BlogHer attendees. This year, our lineup of Pitchers have businesses in the health and wellness field, ranging from a consumer facing fem-tech product to an anonymous digital space that connects women who have health-related queries and concerns. Please join us in welcoming the amazing women who are making positive strides in the health and wellness industry in 2019: Ana Pompa Alarcón of findSisterhood, Ella Mihov of Lune, and Jenna Anderson of Soft Health Technologies!
Ana Pompa Alarcón: Ana is the CEO and founder of findSisterhood. She is Mexican, Austrian and the mom of Leila and Ezra. findSisterhood is an anonymous app for women, a safe space to connect with each other and get support. Women facing domestic violence or sexual assault get help among other women without revealing their identity. findSisterhood has collected over 40,000 stories from all over the world about sex, relationship, gender based violence, mental illness and other topics usually not talked about online. Women get help, encouragement and a support system from others in the same situation. Her company has helped many victims to get the courage to come forward and report, leave their abusive relationships, go to therapy or sometimes just know that they are not alone.
Ella Mihov: Ella is the founder and CEO of Lune, a science-driven wellness company. She believes in advanced testing to drive personalized solutions that work, and help everyone feel their absolute best. Before founding Lune, Ella was a product manager at Google for several health initiatives, spanning U.S. and International markets. She was the Director of Healthcare at Ayasdi, a machine learning startup, where she developed Ayasdi’s health business into the top-grossing vertical of the company. She has an MBA from Wharton and degrees in Biology and Economics from Duke University. She lives in SF Bay Area with her husband and two energetic boys.
